(Atlantic) The Atlantic Chamber Ambassadors celebrated a refreshed showroom and welcomed a new team member at Akin Building Center on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025.
Randy DeSpain, General Manager of Akin Building Center, introduced Mei Riordan as the new interior designer. Mei, who recently completed her degree in Design and Architecture, shared her passion for architecture, which blossomed during her studies, including a period of study abroad in Italy. She expressed her excitement to connect with community members and assist them in realizing their design visions.
In addition to welcoming Mei, the Ambassadors were given a tour of the updated showroom. Randy DeSpain highlighted the recent enhancements made to showcase advancements in siding, decking materials, and other technologies. He also pointed out improvements and additions to the Rent-A-Center, which offers a wide array of tools such as jackhammers, saws, and carpet cleaner.
