(Oregon) Authorities in Harney County, Oregon, are actively searching for 29-year-old Kaylee Birt, a native of Shenandoah, Iowa, who has been missing since Friday, April 4. Deputies worked late into the night in an effort to locate her and have resumed the search today.
Kaylee was last seen at The Fields Station in Harney County. She was traveling in her golden-colored 2008 Chevy Malibu with Iowa license plate GW21073. According to her best friend and roommate, Kaylee was making the long drive from Klamath Falls, Oregon, to Shenandoah.
She was last known to be wearing a green long sleeve shirt and white sweatpants with Christmas tree designs. Kaylee wears green and brown glasses and has a mole on her left cheek.
Investigators are also focusing on an area where her phone last pinged, although they caution that the location may not be precise due to the remoteness of the region.
