Iowa West Foundation Updates Pottawattamie County Board on Latest Initiatives

(Pottawattamie Co) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors received an update on Tuesday from Brenda Mainwaring, President and CEO of the Iowa West Foundation.

Mainwaring said most recently, they awarded 3.9 million dollars in grants and initiatives.

She also noted, that, for the first time in a very long time, they gave a grant to the Pottawattamie County Historical Society.

And, Mainwaring said right around two-million dollars will go toward creating and rehabbing housing units.
