(Avoca, IA) — The AHSTW Boys Golf team won their first match of the year beating Logan Magnolia by 20 strokes. The Vikings triangular last night against CAM and Exira EHK was postponed because of the weather and they will play on Thursday night.
Junior Drew Lee led the way with a 41 to earn medalist honors and Head Coach Aaron Allspach says he likes to play the game and seems totally engrossed with his game

Audio PlayerJunior Cash Freeman shot a 45 on Monday and is the number four player. Senior Tyson Osbahr and Freshman Kavin Rold were numbers 5 and 6 — they both dual sport with soccer so when they are not available, Allspach will turn to Freshman Andy Lund and Sophomore Sam Sturm. The Vikings have big numbers with 13 out for boys golf and Allspach hopes for big things this season
