(Atlantic) The Cass County Relay for Life Committee is changing things up this year by hosting or participating in numerous events throughout the year. Officials say the goal is to reach as many residents as possible, celebrate survivors, remember those lost to cancer, and the fight back against cancer.
The first event will be “Spring into Relay” on April 26 at the Heritage House in Atlantic. This social gathering will feature cake, punch, live music, and the debut of a slideshow honoring cancer survivors and fighters. They are seeking submissions in memory of or in support of cancer survivors or battlers for the slideshow.
Please refer to the attached flyer for details on how to submit. We will also hold a picture-taking event on April 4th from 4 to 6 PM at the Heritage House for those who would like to submit photos that way. Any support in sharing this information would be greatly appreciated.
