(Guthrie Co) A Coon Rapids man was injured in a tractor accident in Guthrie County Friday afternoon.
The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office says 62-year-old Daniel Royer was driving a John Deere tractor northbound in the 1800 block of Chestnut Avenue when the tractor lost power, which caused the tractor to swerve across the southbound lanes. The tractor went down an embankment and came to rest in a ditch. Royer was crawling out when someone saw him and called 911.
Royer was transported to the Audubon County Fair Grounds by Audubon County Ambulance to meet with Life Flight and then he was flown to a Des Moines hospital with suspected serious injuries.
