(Lewis) A barn was destroyed and livestock were killed in a fire in Lewis this morning.
Lewis Fire Chief Terry Erickson said the call came in at 6:30 a.m. at 701 E. S. Street. When firefighters arrived on scene, the barn was fully engulfed.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but Erickson said it could have been electrical.
