(Atlantic, IA) – Produce in the Park is now welcoming vendor applications for its 2025 summer farmers markets and seeking sponsors for the 2025-2026 market season. Applications and sponsorship details are available online at www.ProduceintheParkAtlanticiowa.com, with printed copies available at the Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce (102 Chestnut St., Atlantic, IA 50022).
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Produce in the Park supports local food and fosters community engagement. The summer farmers markets take place every Thursday evening from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at Atlantic City Park, running from June 5 through September 25, 2025. Additionally, special holiday markets are held before Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Easter.
Produce in the Park seeks vendors offering handmade or homegrown foods and crafts. The full-season vendor fee for the 2025 summer market is $100, with discounts available:
- Early registration (by May 1): $20 discount
- Farmers Market Nutrition Program food vendors: Additional $10 discount
- Partial participation options: Four markets for $50 or single market participation for $25
The organization is also looking for sponsors passionate about community and well-being. Sponsorship packages range from $250 to $2,000 and offer benefits such as radio mentions, booth space, and logo placement on market tote bags.

In addition to vendors and sponsors, Produce in the Park is actively seeking volunteers, guest chefs, children’s activity leaders, and live entertainment for summer markets.
The next farmers market, Spring Celebration Market, will occur on Saturday, April 19, from 12:00 – 3:00 PM at the Nishna Valley Family YMCA. Attendees can shop for fresh produce, meats, eggs, baked goods, desserts, and handmade crafts—perfect for Easter baskets and holiday meals. Admission is free, and the YMCA will provide free bounce houses for kids. Pim’s Thai Food Truck and Lucky Wife Wine Slushies will also be on-site.
