(Corning) On February 28, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop for Union County, which resulted in one of six arrests reported in the weekly arrest report. During the stop, an occupant named Christopher Adam Fannon was charged with assault in Union County. Following a probable cause search of the vehicle, authorities discovered marijuana and a firearm inside. As a result, Adams County issued Fannon a summons to appear in court for possession of a controlled substance (marijuana, 1st offense) and possession of a dangerous weapon while under the influence. Additionally, the driver, Josie Fannon, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (marijuana, 1st offense).
*March 1-Adams County Deputies conducted a traffic stop near Highway 148 and 150th Street in the early morning hours. A consent to search led to the arrest of Brian Christopher Meyers, of Marshalltown, for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
*February 27-Adams County Deputies arrested Shawn Michael James, of Prescott for Public Intoxication and Interference with Official Acts. Authorities transported James to the Adams County Jail, and bonded out.
*February 21-The Adams County Sheriff’s Office arrested Howard Herring for 3rd degree burglary. Authorities booked Herring into the Adams County Jail.
*February 14-The Adams County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Sycamore and Adams/Taylor Avenue. The driver identified as Rhonda Jane Thompson, faces charges of operating while intoxicated-1st offense, possession of a controlled substance-1st offense, unlawful possession of a prescription drug, and speeding, Deputies transported Thompson to the Adams County Jail without incident.
*February 13-The Adams County Sheriff’s Office arrested Daniel Travis Gresham for 3rd-degree burglary. Authorities booked Gresham, who was booked into the Adams County Jail.
