(Page Co) Four people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident in Page County Saturday evening.
The Page County Sheriff’s Office says Deputies and EMS personnel were dispatched to Highway 2 and B Avenue at 9:05 p.m. Through the investigation, it was determined that Roger Eugene Stevens, of Clarinda, was driving eastbound on Highway 2 in the westbound lane. Stevens collided with a westbound vehicle, driven by Melanie Marie McGinnis of Shenandoah.
McGinnis was flown to UNMC in Omaha. Stevens was transported to Shenandoah Medical Center by Shenandoah EMS. Two passengers in Stevens’ vehicle (Shannon Marie Haley and Cristin Linette Otte) were flown to UNMC.
The Page County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Shenandoah EMS, Shenandoah Fire Department, Coin Fire and EMS, Essex Fire and EMS, the Iowa State Patrol and the Shenandoah Police Department.
