(Williamsburg, IA) — One of the main issues that has drawn the ire of county residents has been the proposed Summit Carbon Solutions Pipeline. Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has not stood in the way of the pipeline project one way or the other but Brad Sherman, a Republican candidate for Iowa Governor, differs with Governor Reynolds on this issue. Sherman told KSOM and KS 95 News that the issue of eminent domain is clear
Summit Carbon Solutions say they are improving the environment by building a pipeline to properly dispose carbon dioxide instead of releasing it into the atmosphere. Sherman, however, says there are other environment concerns if the pipeline were to fail
Sherman is a pastor that lives in Williamsburg, Iowa and recently announced his candidacy for Iowa Governor. Reynolds has not yet announced that she will run for a third term. The complete interview with Brad Sherman is available at westerniowatoday.com
