(Elliott) Firefighters from Elliott, Grant, and Red Oak responded to 2602 140th Street for a report of a field fire on Wednesday afternoon.
Red Oak Fire Chief John Bruce says embers from a nearby brush pile blew into a fence line, causing the grass fire.
Chief Bruce says fire crews extinguished the fire without incident.
Montgomery County Emergency Management and Montgomery County Communications assisted.
