(Atlantic) The Atlantic City Council encourages residents to share their thoughts on the city’s guide for future development. Officials are working on a comprehensive plan to establish the foundation for zoning and land use decisions. Comprehensive plans should be updated every five years to ensure they accurately reflect the city’s goals and aspirations for the future. Representatives are conducting meetings today at City Hall from noon to 1:30 and 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. this evening.
The plan will focus significantly on land use and help define the city’s development objectives. The city is also seeking public feedback through a community survey to assist in updating the plan.
Paper copies of the survey are available at City Hall and the Chamber of Commerce. Drop boxes for completed surveys can be found at City Hall, the Chamber, Fareway, and Hy-Vee.
