(Winterset) A Polk County man faces charges from a suspicious vehicle report in rural Madison County.
According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, a Madison County Sheriff’s Office deputy came across a suspicious vehicle near an abandoned farmhouse in the 2300 block of Harmon Avenue in rural Madison County on Wednesday morning. Additional Deputies arrived on the scene and stopped a burglary in progress.
During the investigation, the offender was identified as “Jack David Hobbs” of Des Moines. The offender was charged with Burglary Third Degree, Possession of Methamphetamine Second or Subsequent, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
