(Atlantic) The Atlantic City County recognized three individuals during their meeting Wednesday evening.
Mayor Grace Garrett recognized Michael Hocamp for his achievement in becoming an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. Less than 6% of all Boy Scouts achieve this rank, which is the highest that can be achieved in the organization. Mayor Grace Garrett’s full recognition can be listened to here:
Diane McFadden was recognized for her 36 Years of Service at the Atlantic Public Library. Diane McFadden is an adult services librarian.
Sondra Marnin was recognized for her 10 Years of Service at the Atlantic Public Library. Sondra Marnin began as a clerk with very limited hours assisting patrons and shelving books. In 2023 she accepted the youth services assistant position that came with more responsibilities, both in how she works with the public and how she helps behind the scenes.
