(Des Moines) Several active snow events this week will cut into Iowa’s snow deficit. That’s according to Brad Small, Meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Des Moines.
Small says the snowfall will be considerable in some incidents later today or tonight, with the highest amounts of possible 2-to-4 inches north of Highway 30 and maybe an inch or less further south.
Small says forecasters are looking at the possibility of 2-4 inches of snow further north from Atlantic to Des Moines and north to Waterloo. He says to prepare the snow removal equipment because this will be an active snow week in Iowa, with another wintry system moving through late this week.
