(Guthrie Co) The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle accident on 315th Street Saturday afternoon.
According to the report, 35-year-old Alexander Oponski Sims, of Adel, was driving a 2013 Dodge Journey eastbound on 315th Street at excessive speeds when he lost control and entered the south ditch. The Dodge struck a culvert and overturned before impacting the ground a second time.
Oponski Sims refused medical treatment and was booked into the Guthrie County Jail on charges unrelated to the accident.
