(Des Moines) The State Central Committee of the Republican Party of Iowa has unanimously re-elected Jeff Kaufmann as Chairman and Linda Upmeyer as Co-Chair.
Chairman Kaufmann, now entering his sixth term, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to continue leading the party:
“Following a flawless 2024 Caucus that reaffirmed Iowa’s role as First in the Nation, along with sweeping Republican victories in November, I am deeply honored to serve another term. We are committed to reversing the damage of the Biden Administration and advancing President Trump’s America First policies, which prioritize states like Iowa rather than neglecting them.”
Co-Chair Upmeyer also shared her enthusiasm for the party’s continued success:
“Our victories in November were just the beginning. I look forward to building on this momentum as we head into the midterms. Iowa is a model of a strong, grassroots-driven movement, and I am honored to continue serving as co-chair.”
Governor Kim Reynolds applauded their leadership and dedication to strengthening the party:
“Chairman Kaufmann and Co-Chair Upmeyer are tireless advocates for Republican victories across Iowa. Their efforts are instrumental in keeping our state red and ensuring we can implement commonsense policies that uplift Iowans. I am grateful for their leadership.”
