(Neola, IA) — Tri Center Boys basketball has been brought down to earth a little — the Trojans have back to back losses from Audubon and Underwood but still have a solid 14-4 record. For Tri Center its really simple, shoot better. Only 5-25 from three point land in a 65-57 loss to the Wheelers and only 37 percent overall in a 50-43 defeat to the Eagles. Head Coach Chad Harder needs to see the peach go in the peach basket
Harder says that most teams are playing straight up man-to-man defense, not much zone
There’s four games left in the regular season for Tri Center — Thursday they visit Stanton in a non conference game and Friday is a rematch against Treynor who beat the Trojans 82-50 a month a go. Plus Shenandoah and Missouri Valley and all these games will get Harder’s team ready for the post-season he says
Harder expects playoff brackets for Class 1A and 2A to be released on Monday
