(Fort Madison) A Republican lawmaker from Fort Madison has died. Iowa House Speaker Pat Grassley says Representative Martin Graber passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, but a cause of death wasn’t provided. Graber was serving his third term in District 100, having first been elected in 2020. He spent more than three decades with the Iowa National Guard, retiring as a Brigadier General before moving into politics. He leaves behind his wife, two daughters, and two granddaughters.
