(Harlan, IA) — Its a Hawkeye Ten Conference showdown tonight as Creston visits Harlan, coverage on KSOM.
The boys game will pit two teams that are pretty evenly matched — Harlan is 6-8 on the season and broke a three game losing streak on Tuesday with a 67-45 win over Denison Schleswig. The Cyclones are led by Junior Dallas McDowell at 16.9 ppg and Sophomore Kobe Klassen at 13.9 ppg. Head Coach Mitch Osborn says they would have a few more wins if they could be more consistent on offense

Grace Albertsen led with 21 points, Kenzley Bruck had 20 points and Aubrey Schwieso added 19. Schwieso comes into tonight’s game only 4 away from 1,000 career points. Harlan is 14-3 and face a Creston team that is 6-11 and just broke a 4 game losing streak with a 51-46 win over Glenwood. The Panthers are led by Junior Kadley Bailey with 18.5 ppg, the only Panther who averages in double figures. Bailey does shoot 38 percent from three point land.
