(Washington D.C.) — President Joe Biden is winding down his term but Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley is criticizing the administration for wasteful agricultural spending. On the Senate floor on Friday, Grassley says that he is an advocate of limiting the amount of money that a farmer can get from the federal government to better help medium and small size farmers and to prevent large farms from getting bigger. Grassley says he has worked on legislation in both houses on that issue but with recent acts the Biden Department of Agriculture has negated that
Grassley says he will be pursuing in the upcoming Farm Bill this year a cap on what one family farmer can get and wants to take additional action to make sure to reform the Community Credit Corporations Act to make sure that the executive branch does not make changes in the future.
