Updated: Fire Destroys Garage in Marne

(Marne) Marne and Atlantic firefighters responded to a garage fire this morning.

Marne Fire Chief Aaron Williams stated the call went out at 5:13 a.m. at 608 South Taft Street. Williams says a neighbor spotted the fire.

There were no injuries. Chief Williams says the blaze destroyed a vehicle, a motorcycle, and miscellaneous shop items.

Responding agencies included Marne Fire, Atlantic Fire, Cass EMS, Cass County Sheriff’s Office, and Cass County Emergency Management Coordinator Mike Kennon.
