(Anita, IA) — CAM Boys Basketball has been riding a roller coaster ride recently — the Cougars won two in a row to start the new year but now have lost two in a row and are going into their toughest part of their schedule.
The last two games was a 68-56 loss to Southwest Valley and last Friday fell to Ar-We-Va 52-34. Head Coach Ian Hunt says consistency has been the theme
Leading scorer Chase Jahde has been up and down the last two games — he had 21 against the Timberwolves but was held to just 10 against the Rockets. Hunt says Ar-We-Va really focused on stopping him
The schedule makers did not do CAM too many favors during this part of the month — the next three games are against Coon Rapids, AC/GC, and Woodbine. Two of those teams — the Chargers and Tigers are ranked and they have a combined record of 25-2. Hunt says they will still show up
After facing Coon Rapids Bayard on Friday, they will host the Chargers next Monday, coverage of that girls boys doubleheader on KSOM.
