(Creston) Four people were arrested on separate charges over the weekend. The charges ranged from assault and alcohol-related issues.
*Creston Police arrested 43-year-old Erik Speed of Creston on Thursday at 805 Mills Street on assault charges. Authorities released him on a promise to appear.
*Creston Police arrested 45-year-old Lela Ann Churchwell of Creston at 302 N. Pine Street for Public Intoxication. Officers transported Churchwell to Adams County Jail, and old on a $300.00 cash bond.
*Creston Police arrested 38-year-old Christopher Paul Stolk on Saturday at his residence. Stolk was charged with Operating While Under the Influence, first Offense. He was taken to Union County Jail. Bail for $1000 cash or approved surety was posted.
*Creston Police arrested 36-year-old Vaughn Gordan Long, of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, for Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense. Long was taken to Union County Jail. Bail for $1000 cash or approved surety was posted.
