(Des Moines) The Atlantic Boys’ Swim Team secured third place at the Hoover Invitational on Saturday. Oskaloosa claimed the top spot with 296 points, followed by Hoover-North Men’s Swim in second with 290 points. Atlantic earned 266 points for third place, while the Bishop Garrigan Swim Team finished fourth with 162 points.
Keaten Rieken delivered standout performances, winning the 200-yard freestyle and the 100-yard butterfly. The relay team of Hunter Quist, Kort Rieken, Lucas Doyle, and Keaten Rieken also excelled, taking first place in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:37.56.
