(Atlantic) Atlantic crowned two champions, secured two runner-up finishes, and amassed 191.5 points to claim the top spot in a highly competitive 19-team Rollin Dyer Wrestling Tournament on Saturday at Atlantic. The event featured a closely contested team race, with Atlantic, Omaha Skutt Catholic, Grand Island, and Sergeant Bluff-Luton each taking turns in the lead. Ultimately, when the dust settled, Atlantic emerged victorious, proudly walking away with the tournament trophy.
Ten Atlantic wrestlers earned podium finishes by the end of the day. Aiden Smith (138) and Evan Sorensen (285) captured individual titles. Collin Harris (113) and Landon Hagen (126) finished as runners-up. Keaton Schroeder (106) and Jaydin Harter (150) secured third-place finishes. Braxton Hass (120) placed fourth, Kalvin Hayes (144) finished fifth, Donovan Hedrington (190) earned sixth, and Carter Hadley (132) rounded out the podium for Atlantic with a seventh-place finish.

Cade Ziola, of Omaha, Skutt-Catholic won the (215) pound weight class. The Nebraska commit received the Rollin Dyer Wrestler of the meet award. Ziola posted pins in the first two rounds, and won by tech fall in the semi-finals, and finals. His most impressive performance was a 19-4 tech fall in the finals in 1:31.
Omaha Skutt, Catholic crowned five champions, and finished second with 179. Earning individual titles were Blake Eddy, (106), Cole Welte, (120), Benjamin Ziola, (126), Tyler Harrill, (150), and Cade Ziola, (215).
Other individual winners were: Cale Johnson from Central DeWitt, (113) Brayden Scheffers of Interstate 35, (132), Lucas Bose, (144), Nolan Fellers, of Bondurant-Farrar, (157), Bo Koedam of Sergeant Bluff-Luton, (165), Zayvion Ellington of Sergeant Bluff-Luton, (175), and Hudson Oliver of Grand Island, (190).
Two AHSTW wrestlers stood high on the podium. ucker Osbahr of AHSTW, (126), fifth place, and Kayden Baxter, runner-up at (175).
For Audubon, Leyton Elmquist finished fourth place at (106), Jon Rasmussen, seventh, (126), and Jack Stanerson, sixth at (150).
