(Ames, IA) — The head coach of the Iowa State Cyclones football team could be going pro. Multiple reports say Matt Campbell is expected to interview for the head coaching position of the NFL’s Chicago Bears. The news comes after Campbell led the Cyclones to their best season in history with eleven wins and three losses, including an appearance in the Big 12 Championship this past season. He’s been with ISU for the past nine years and has a total record of 64 and 51.
