Update: Atlantic Home Damaged by Fire

(Atlantic) An Atlantic home was damaged by fire this morning.

Atlantic Fire Chief Tom Cappel said they were paged out at 8:07 a.m. to 117 Broadway Street.

Chief Cappel believes the cause of the fire was electrical.

There were no injuries. Cappel said one person came out of the house who had taken on a little smoke, but they were not transported to the hospital.

Cappel thanked Cass EMS, the Atlantic Police Department and all of the firemen who responded in this cold weather.
