(Adair Co) The Stuart Police Department arrested 32-year-old Christopher Michael Smith, of Des Moines, on January 2nd for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Smith was released on $2,300 cash or surety bond.
In other activity, the Adair County Sheriff’s Office cited and released 19-year-old Sawyer Eli Hensley, of Nodaway, on January 1st for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Alcohol under Age.
The Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Tyler Lee Carter, of Adair, on January 4th for Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury or Mental Illness. Bond was set at $1,000 cash or surety.
