(Avoca, IA) — The AHSTW Boys Basketball team was not 100 percent healthy in the first part of the year — Head Coach GG Harris had two key weapons on the sidelines to start the season but they have come back and seen action just before the winter break. That might help the Vikes overcome a 1-4 start. Point Guard Collin Harder played in two games off the bench but Harris says he is ready to start and the offense should move more smoothly
Another player back is Freshman Dayton Osbahr who has played in three games this year but Harris says his football injury is still lingering
Luke Sternberg continues to pace the Vikings, averaging 19.8 points a game but has not shot as many threes — 7-16 so far and Harris says a priority for him is shooting more from beyond the arc
AHSTW will get back on the hardwood tonight against Logan Magnolia.
