(Dubuque, IA) — Members of the Iowa Alumni Marching Band have nearly ten-thousand dollars in donations after playing at a bar in Dubuque.
On Monday the band finished their 4th season of raising money to increase children’s access to music. Iowa Alumni Marching Band member Jeff Eagn said the band raised three-thousand-dollars this season for several organizations, including the Colts Youth Organization, Northeast Iowa School of Music, and Tri-State Wind Symphony.
The group has stayed at Gary Dolphin’s Iron Bar for every Iowa game since 2021 and has raised almost ten-thousand dollars for the cause.
