(Iowa City) The University of Iowa men’s basketball team walloped New Hampshire, 112-70, last night at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
The Hawkeyes led 62-33 at the break while shooting 59 percent from the field and 35.3 percent from behind the three-point line. The Hawks kept their foot on the gas in the second half, outscoring the visitors 50-37.
Payton Sandfort finished with 15 points to lead the Hawkeyes, while freshman Cooper Koch marked a career-best with 14 points.
The Hawks finished the game, shooting 60.8 percent from the field and 34.5 percent from behind the three-point line.
