(Des Moines) The Iowa Shriners recently named the North-South Coaching staff for the 2025 Iowa Shrine Bowl.
Two area coaches have been named to the South squad. Logan-Magnolia Head Football Coach Matt Straight will lead the South Staff. Assistants joining him are Atlantic Head Football Coach Joe Brummer, Coach Justin Huber (Albia), Coach Corey Vespestad (Ballard), Coach Shane Rowlands (Southeast Warren), Coach John Nestor (West Branch), and Coach Josh DeWaard (Des Moines East).
Brian Woodley, Head Coach at Johnston, will be assisted by Coach Jared Collum (North Linn), Coach Scott Chandler (Iowa City Liberty), Coach Nik Moser (Fort Dodge), Coach Grant Hegstad (MOC-Floyd Valley), Coach Ben Thomsen (Emmetsburg), and Coach Justin Heins (North Fayette).
The Iowa Shrine Bowl Football Game has 92 Players: 46 on the North and 46 on the South. The 2025 Iowa Shrine Bowl will be played on July 19th, 2025, at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls.
