(Adair Co) A Prescott woman was arrested for OWI 1st Offense and two counts of Child Endangerment.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office says 37-year-old Jillian Rose Weaver was arrested following a traffic stop on December 22nd. Deputies observed Weaver driving 98 mph in a 55 mph zone on Highway 92. During the traffic stop, field sobriety tests were conducted and a PBT result indicated a level above .08. Due to the excessive speed and determining Weaver was operating while intoxicated, Weaver was also endangering the two 12-year-old passengers in the vehicle. She was transported to the Adair County Jail and held on $5,000 bond. Weaver was released on bond on December 23rd.
In other activity, the Adair County Sheriff’s Office cited and released 39-year-old Justin Lucas Starr, of Guthrie Center, on December 22nd for Driving While Barred.
Kelsey Nicolle Moore, 31, of Orient, was cited and released on December 26th for Driving While License Denied/Revoked.
The Adair Police Department arrested 36-year-old Nicolas Allan Newcomb, of Des Moines, on December 27th for Contempt – Violation of a No Contact Order. Newcomb was released on his own recognizance after an initial appearance.
Marcela Rivera, 51, of Des Moines, was arrested on December 27th for Driving under Suspension. Rivera was released on December 27th after posting bond.
