(Lyon County) The driver died in a single-vehicle accident in Lyon County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the crash happened at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, December 27 at 180th Street and Ashley Avenue. Authorities identified the victim as 21-year-old Jenner Nicholas Johnson of Inwood, Iowa.
According to the report, Johnson was driving a 2013 Chrylser 200 series westbound on 180th Street approaching a curve at the intersection of 180th and Ashley Avenue. The car went straight through the curve in the north ditch and struck a tree.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Larchwood Fire Department, EMS, and the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
