They closed the second quarter with a dominant 15-3 run, taking a 50-32 lead into halftime. An 11-0 run capped off the third quarter, and Iowa stayed efficient in the final frame, missing just two shots to secure the win.
Addison O’Grady paced the (10-3) Hawkeyes with 12 points, shooting 4-of-7 from the field and 4-of-6 from the free-throw line. She also contributed seven rebounds and six assists. Sydney Affolter added nine points, seven rebounds, and six assists, while Ava Heiden chipped in nine points and eight rebounds. For Purdue, Destiny Lombard led with 12 points.
Iowa heads to Penn State on Wednesday before hosting Maryland on January 5.
