(Silver City) One person died in a single-vehicle accident in Mills County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened around 1:34 p.m. on Thursday at 51374 287th Street north of Silver City. Authorities identified the victim as 38-year-old Kevin Deitchler of Glenwood, Iowa.
According to the report, a northbound 2011 Routan Volkswagon driven by Deitchler drifted off the road, crossed the oncoming lane of traffic, left the road, crashed into a driveway embankment, flipped over the driveway, and landed on its top.
Deitchler was pronounced deceased at the scene.
