(Des Moines) Iowa’s six Electoral College votes are officially in favor of President-elect Trump. Governor Kim Reynolds met with the electors this week for a formal casting of ballots, which is the state’s final step to closing the 2024 election. More than 55 percent of ballots cast in Iowa this year were for Trump, who has won the state for the third-straight election. The Certificate of Vote will now be sent to Congress to be an official record of this year’s contest.
