(Atlantic) A single-vehicle rollover accident south of Atlantic resulted in minor injuries for the occupants of a 2011 Chevy Suburban on Friday afternoon. The crash occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of 610th and Keystone Road.
Cass County Deputy Kyle Quist told KSOM/KS95 News that the vehicle, driven by 25-year-old Breanna Olivia of Red Oak, was carrying four children and two adults. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle while navigating a 90-degree curve, causing it to enter the ditch and roll over.
According to Deputy Quist, the group was returning from Christmas shopping in Atlantic, and the GPS led them in the wrong direction, contributing to the accident. While the exact number of injured occupants has not been confirmed, Deputy Quist stated that their injuries were minor.
The Atlantic Fire Department, Cass EMS, and the Cass County Secondary Roads Department Assisted the Cass County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
