(Anita, IA) — The CAM Boys basketball team lost last night to a very good Woodbine team 84-36. That drops the Cougars to 0-3 on the season. Head Coach Ian Hunt says they need shots to fall and need to find a way to break out of a early season slump. Transitional defense needs to work as well. Hunt says they have guys that are versatile, just need to develop some confidence with their shooting
Chase Jahden leads CAM with 17.5 ppg followed by Collin Bower with 14 points a contest. Bower averages 11 rebounds a game. Hunt says in order to get more points they need to reduce turnovers and then settle down and run the game plan
After facing Earlham, Coon Rapids Bayard and Woodbine to start the season, the schedule does lighten up a bit in the next week. Hunt says the Cougars overcame a slow start last year and they’ll need history to repeat itself
CAM will visit West Harrison on Friday then host Boyer Valley next Tuesday.
