(Des Moines) Iowans appear more likely to give than those in other states. That’s according to a recent study by finance website WalletHub, which ranked the Most Charitable States in the country based on more than a dozen factors. Those include volunteer rates and how much income is donated. Iowa was ranked as the 14th most charitable state and above average in both major categories of the study. That includes 16th in volunteering and service and 19th in charitable giving.
