(Iowa City) One person is dead, and another is injured in a single-vehicle rollover in eastern Iowa.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened around 4:00 p.m. near Brighton, Washington County. Authorities say the driver of the car died in the crash. A passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the report, a 1999 Toyota Camry traveling eastbound on Highway 78 failed to negotiate a curve west of Toadflx Boulevard. The car left the road and rolled multiple times, ejecting the driver, whose name has not been released.
The accident remains under investigation.
