(Atlantic) Atlantic Executive Director Bailey Smith says $40,000 worth of AtlanticCash sold out at around 10:30 Saturday morning. The sale started at 9:00 a.m. for the annual “Shop Local” promotion at the Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce. Shoppers could purchase packs of $100 for $80, a 20% discount, with a purchase limit of up to three packs, on a first-come, first-purchase basis.
“We love how this community always shows up and supports our local businesses,” said Bailey Smith. “That was evident again this morning with all $40,000 of AtlanticCash being sold in 90 minutes.”
The annual event mirrored today’s Small Business Saturday. Businesses offered discounts, deals, and special promotions.
