(Creston) The Creston Police Department reports four arrests involving charges ranging from drug possession to domestic abuse.
At 11:14 a.m. on Tuesday, 44-year-old Melinda Ann Foland, of Afton, was taken into custody at the intersection of Highway 34 and Chestnut. Foland was charged with Operating While Under the Influence (1st Offense) and Possession of a Controlled Substance—Marijuana (1st Offense). She was transported to the Union County Jail, where she posted bail set at $2,000 cash or surety.
Later that afternoon, at 4:35 p.m., police arrested 47-year-old Toby Annette Crawford of Creston near Cherry and Howard Streets. Crawford was charged with Operating While Under the Influence (1st Offense) and was booked into the Union County Jail. She was released after posting $1,000 bail in cash or surety.
At 10:09 p.m., 22-year-ol Rhodey Lucky Charles Fechter, of Creston, was arrested at his residence. Fechter faces charges of Domestic Abuse Assault—Strangulation. He was transported to the Union County Jail and is being held without bond until seen by a judge.
Shortly after midnight on November 27, Creston Police arrested 20-year-old Tyson Scott Nall, of Murray, on West Adams Street. Nall was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance—Marijuana (1st Offense) and Persons Ineligible to Carry Dangerous Weapons. He was booked into the Union County Jail and released after posting $2,000 bail in cash or surety.
Creston Police also reports the arrest of 41-year-old Daniel Lee Swank, of Saint Charles, on a Union County warrant. He was also charged with Sex Abuse 3rd and Indecent Exposure. He was released on $11,000 cash or surety bond.
