(Cumberland) Firefighters from Cumberland and Massena responded to a house fire at 901 Adams Street in Cumberland just before 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cumberland Fire Chief Jason Rouse tells KSOM/KS95 News they faced a developing fire when they arrived.
Chief Rouse says the home is a total loss. He says the space heater caused the fire, although not ultimately confirmed.
Cumberland Fire and Rescue Ambulance, Cass EMS, Cass County Emergency Management Coordinator Mike Kennon, and Alliant Energy assisted at the scene.
