(Lincoln, NE) — Seven weeks ago, Nebraska was coming off their 5th win of the season 14-7 over Rutgers and was one more win to becoming bowl eligible. Fast forward to now and the Huskers are still sitting on 5 wins. Nebraska will try for #6 again Saturday hosting Wisconsin. If the Huskers want to go to a bowl game, they will need to beat the Badgers or Iowa next week. They will be without Senior Cornerback Tommi Hill is now out for the rest of the season. Head Coach Matt Rhule says he has been battling a foot injury all season but he just can’t put him on the field anymore
Last week the Huskers lost to USC 28-20 and Rhule says the defense just gave up way too many big plays
Rhule says that Wisconsin is better than their record — losses to top ranked Oregon, Alabama, USC, Penn St. and Iowa and their defense is really tough
Wisconsin visits Nebraska, both teams are 5-5, kickoff at 2:30 pm, it will be televised by the Big Ten Network
