(Iowa City, IA) — Alpha Delta Phi fraternity is not the only frat to fall under the scrutiny of University of Iowa officials this year.
The university tells the Cedar Rapids Gazette that it is, or has, been investigating three other Greek chapters this fall. Two are facing hazing allegations and the third is accused of violating the university’s alcohol policy. They say sanctions are pending.
Police reported finding 56 pledges blindfolded on their knees covered in food in the basement of the Alpha Delta Phi frat house over the weekend. The fraternity has been suspended indefinitely as a result.
