(Johnson Co) A Tennessee man died in a rollover accident in Johnson County this (Wednesday) morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at around 5:12 a.m. on Interstate 80, near mile marker 245. 25-year-old Jeremy Rogers, of Nashville, was driving a 2021 Volvo semi eastbound and for unknown reasons he left the roadway. The semi struck a bridge guardrail and then went into the ditch and overturned onto the driver’s side.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Iowa City Police Department, Iowa City Fire Department, Iowa DOT, and the Johnson County Medical Examiner.
