(Iowa City, IA) — A University of Iowa fraternity is under investigation by the school for a potential hazing incident.
According to a university statement, authorities responded to a fire alarm at the Alpha Delta Phi house and found pledge members blindfolded in the basement. One person has been arrested, but they were not a UI student and did not reside at the house, according to the statement.
The university is offering counseling to pledges or any affected students.
